Classic chess is a strategic two-player board game played on an 8×8 grid of 64 squares. Each player begins with 16 pieces: a king, a queen, two rooks, two bishops, two knights, and eight pawns. The primary objective is to checkmate your opponent’s king, placing it under threat of capture with no escape. Players can compete against an AI or another person using the same device. Additionally, the game offers tools to help solve various chess puzzles.
