That’s right—the internationally renowned, or should I say famous—Chef Alex has selected me to be his apprentice! Can you believe it? Just a year ago, I was lucky enough to land a job as the official “wiener steamer” for my town’s annual hot dog eating contest and cooking game event—admittedly, I’ve steamed the wieners for the last three winners. Wow, that sounded a bit off. Oh well… it’s not like anyone else is going to read this free diary of my culinary adventures anyway…
